Form Follows Data by Iohanna Pani is a fantastic project that combinesinfographics and things you use every day.

The project ”Form Follows Data” is a data sculpture project based on the exploration of the formal language of personal statistic data embedded in everyday objects. The data sources used are based on my body, my habits and my environment. The data-based objects include a set of plates with a stylized pie chart as a visualization of a blood test, and a set of glasses shaped as a column graph or a topographic map to represent the amount of coffee that I’ve been consume every morning for a week.

Ob sich die Kubaner 2010 dann weniger beschissen fühlen ist eine andere Frage (sry der musste raus).

I've been following Señor X for quite some time now. He creates nice streetart that's creates that certain little WTF expression over and over again. And after his stuff was found in Düsseldorf now, which is the next big town near to the village where I grew up I just have to put him here.

Looks like there is a bug or something in the Twitter Plugin for Joomla.
It should post all entries as status updates on twitter. However, if the article is published via the front end it wont be posted at twitter.
The content will be published via backend from now on ... so if you are following on twitter you should have a look at the website to see what happened the last days.

FreierFall is an old friend of mine. I met him on a trip in England and now he finally returned to DeviantArt.
Since I haven't found the time to write sime comments on his artwork I decided to give him a feature here.

Ich fordere, die Immunität von Bundestagsabgeordneten generell aufzuheben. Begründung: das Parlament darf kein rechtsfreier Raum sein.

Außerdem fordere ich die Einführung einer Three Strikes Regel. Wenn ein Politiker das dritte Mal in einer Talkshow auftritt oder anderweitig öffentlich lügt, wird ihm die Bürotür zugemauert.

Mir wurde gerade ganz schön komisch als ich im Fernseher sah, dass Googles Photoverwaltun jetzt auch Gesichter erkennen kann.
An sich ja ein nettes Feature, aber die Schlussfolgerungen die man daraus ziehen kann sind beängstigend.

Zum Bleistift liegen die Bilder des bekannten deutschen Community Portals StudiVZ alle auf öffentlichen Servern (da hilft auch nicht das aktivieren der "Privatssphäre", sodass nur "Freunde" die Bilder einsehen können). Die Rechtsklick-Sperre auf deren Seite ist ein einziger Witz!

Ich frage mich gerade wieviele Kommilitonen wohl erkannt werden würden und vorallem was man so alles finden könnte, wenn man die Erkennungssoftware von Picasa über die Bilder jagt. Und ich denke, der ein oder andere Personalleiter fände das auch recht nützlich;)
