Fototour to Ruhr See

E-mail PDF

Yesterday was the hottest day of the week and some friends and I decided to drive to the Ruhr See. A nice artificial lake near Aachen.
The tour was pretty nice and the weather was sweet.

There was fancy lighting in the clouds later that evening and I just had to ban it on film. You can not see the flashes directly but the colour-change in the sky over the city of Woffelsbach. Pictures after the click ...

Netz weg!

dscf4208-500x500

I have a new laptop running Ubuntu 9.04 and I'm quite happy.

A nice documentation about so called Earthships which are basicilly houses build of garbage. The nice thing is that they need very little power because sunlight is used to heat water and rain is stored in large tanks.

gilbert atomic lab

Did you dreamed of building your own atomic bomb while your parents hiding in a bunker in the 1940th?
In fact, I did not. Because I wasn't born yet but if you want to keep up with your childhood dreams this would have been your chance! For only  US $4,150.00.
Really cheap in comparison with the original price of
$49.50 ($379.92 in 2005 US dollars).
